What is Casarecce pasta?

Casarecce is a short Sicilian pasta shape with gently rolled edges and a twisted centre. The name comes from the Italian word for “homemade”, reflecting its rustic shape and traditional origins.

Its curved shape helps capture sauces, making it especially good with chunky vegetable sauces, pesto, ragù's and creamy pasta dishes.

How to use Casarecce

• Toss with pesto Genovese or pistachio pesto
• Serve with rich tomato sauces, including our MENU Pomodorina Sauce
• Pair with roasted vegetables and olive oil
• Use in creamy sausage or mushroom pasta dishes
• Finish with parmesan and fresh herbs
